Please Note:

It’s important to remember that no dog is 100-percent hypoallergenic. If you have a severe allergy, even a small amount of dander could trigger your allergies.
We appreciate each and every application, however, please consider the timing of your application and any upcoming commitments that may affect your adoption timeline (wedding, moving, vacations, etc.) If you wish to apply, but have a commitment coming up, please note that in the application question that reads: "Is there anything else you would like to share with us about you, your family and the life you can offer a rescue dog from Sunny Paws?"
The adoption fee is $750.00, which includes spay/neuter when age appropriate, vaccines, microchip, two health certificates, transport fees and a mandatory MA 48 hour quarantine when he/she arrives in MA. If you adopt an unaltered puppy, you will receive $100 refund when you complete the spay/neuter procedure.

I am at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.

I agree to call my vet to authroize Sunny Paws Rescue to contact them.

I have never been charged or convicted with any sort of animal abuse/cruelty.

I agree that if I can no longer keep the animal, I will contact Sunny Paws Rescue immediately. We will always accept the animal back into the rescue. The adoption fee is not refundable.

I agree that if the vet recommends euthanasia of the animal, I will contact Sunny Paws before a final decision is made.

I understand that if the animal develops any health issues within the first 10 days after adoption, I will contact Sunny Paws Rescue and Sunny Paws Rescue will pay for any veterinarian expenses at one of our approved vets. Please call us to make arrangemets.

I understand that I amresponsible for all care of the dog after adoption, including vaccinations the dog might need, monthly heartworm and flea/tick treatment, veterinarian exams, emegencies, etc.

I understand that a background check may be conducted.

I am aware that a new dog will need time to adjust to new routines, a new family and new surrondings (this may take a few days to several weeks or months). In addition, I am aware that the animal may need basic house training.

I agree to carefully introduce the new animal to the existing dogs, cats, children, and other household members.

I agree that I will never put the dog on a chain outside or have the dog live outside.

I certify that al household members are in agreement with adopting the dog and that any allergies to animals are taken into consideration before adopting.

I am aware that the dogs are fostered out of state. Before submitting this application, please understand that we are more than likely unable to offer a meet and greet before adoption. All of our dogs and puppies over the age of 6 months will be spayed/neutered before arrival and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed and will come with health records and a health certificate.
